Mozzarella
Master of Food


Remember the mystery of the blue mozzarellas? The special Cheese Master of Food on mozzarella will explore food safety and storage as well as much, much more about Italy’s favorite cheese, such as history, varieties, labeling and nutrition. The two lessons will include a demonstration of the pulling technique (filatura) necessary to making a good mozzarella and a tasting of different mozzarellas (all white, we promise!).

The activity is designed for adults and will be available in English and Italian.

Duration and Times

The Master is divided into two lessons, each two hours long. The first is at 11.30 am and the second at 6.30 pm. The Master will be held on Saturday and repeated on Sunday.

Booking

Places can be booked online via this website, or by writing to prenotazioni@slowfood.it, or during the event at the Event Reception.

Bookings will be confirmed only once payment has been received. Confirmation will be sent once the booking has been validated. Cancellations will receive a refund of 70% of the original cost if made before August 26. Cancellations can only be made via email at the following address: prenotazioni@slowfood.it.
