Dinner Dates
Chefs expert in using the exceptional variety of cheeses in their cooking will be showcasing their talents around the Langhe and Roero once again this year. Cheese 2011 features 13 Dinner Dates in historic villas, prestigious wineries, ancient castles and renowned restaurants and osterias.
Just one of the many exciting events is a dinner prepared by three Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe from Tuscany: Marco Stabile from Ora d’Aria in Florence, Filippo Saporito from the Locanda de’ Frati in Castellina in Chianti and Cristiano Tomei of L’Imbuto in Viareggio. And this year two preview events will be held on Thursday September 15: Ruràl in Turin will host Massimo Camia from the Michelin-starred Borgo Antico in Barolo, while in Cuneo Juri Chiotti will be preparing Occitan specialties at Delle Antiche Contrade.
Don’t miss a very special date on Sunday at the Real Castello di Verduno. Matt Jennings, a young chef from Rhode Island, will be cooking up an authentic American-style barbecue with all the classic sides: cornbread, creamy coleslaw and crispy roasted potatoes. Artisanal beers from California, Oregon, Maryland and Colorado will serve as the perfect sparring partners to the flavorful dishes.

Booking
Advance booking is essential. Bookings and cancellations cannot be made by telephone. Bookings will be confirmed only once payment has been received. Confirmation will be sent once the booking has been validated.
Cancellations will receive a refund of 70% of the original cost if made before August 26. Cancellations can only be made via email to the following address: prenotazioni@slowfood.it.
